Beautiful spot for s BBQ and swim at the beach, or even catching a few fish. Has public toilets, bbqs, and picnic tables. Worth a visit!

I just love Evans Head, beautiful spot and its peaceful. The beaches are fantastic and the river is pretty. Plenty of places to swim and enjoy your day.Things to do;Aviation museumFishingBoatingSwimmingSurfingLookoutFoodShoppingPicnic areasAirport (which they hold the annual "Great Eastern Fly in" which was fantastic so many planes to see, markets, aviation museum and plenty of food)Public tolietsPet friendly but further up the beach past the surf clubWheelchair access to the lookout and at Shark bay.
