Wide range of menu options with the standard aussie pub classics and a selection of more gourmet dishes everything we have eaten has been tasty and fresh. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great for kids.
Great place to grab a quick lunch. Staff were super friendly and food was excellent. Dogs allowed in outdoor beer garden was a bonus. Can't wait to go again.
Well the folks at the Illawong were brilliant. I wanted to watch the Socceroos but they couldnt guarantee they could stay open (fair enough late kickoff on a Sunday). There were plenty of other patrons at kickoff (10pm) but it was pretty much just me by the beginning of the second half..... so they grabbed a beer, sat down and watched the rest of the game! Shame about the result, but the company was appreciated and the Tooheys Old was cold and fresh.
Unpretentious and cosy accommodation, great central location.Very accommodating, am happy to recommend if staying at a working towns hotel is what you're looking for.
Nice staff and clean, but the rooms were really backpacker standard and inconsistent. Some had coffee and jugs, some had fans and some air con. I had none. Shared showers were kept clean and plenty of hot water. The DJ downstairs didn't finish until midnight and he rattled the fixtures with the loudness.
